Whiterook Products Company is a manufacturer of neat, inexpensive ham radio
accessories and kits. Whiterook Products sells two assembled keyer/paddle
combinations (the MK-88 and MK-99) using the Island Keyer chip. One of
their most popular items is the MK-44 iambic paddle which is perfect for

Jens Madsen's PIC Programmer 2
This is an inexpensive and elegant combination of hardware and software for programming
PIC microcontrollers including the 16C84 and the 12c50x series. The hardware
can be built for less than $10 - it attaches to the serial port of a PC - no power
supply is required, the necessary voltages are derived from the RS-232 port - the software
runs under DOS and includes the Pascal source.
American QRP Club
The
American QRP Club is new (2003) and was formed from a merger of
the Norcal and NJQRP clubs. It should be a terrific union!
NorCal QRP Club
The
Northern California QRP Club site has lots of information on low power
ham radio (QRP). This worldwide club publishes a very useful quarterly journal
called QRPp. Also available are inexpensive and innovative kits of
interest to QRP operators. Doug Hendricks, KI6DS, and Jim Cates,
WA6GER, are the driving forces behind the club.
QRP Amateur Radio Club, International
QRP ARCI is
another very active group of worldwide QRP ham radio operators. They publish the very useful
magazine, QRP Quarterly. Note that the QRP ARCI and NorCal are
complimentary organizations - you really need to join both!!
Dan's Small Parts and Kits
Dan's Small Parts and Kits is a great source for inexpensive and
hard to find electronic components for ham radio construction projects.
CWMIDI
CWMIDI is a DOS program used to create Morse code midi sound card sequences.
Rob L. Dey, KA2BEO, is the author of this nifty program and he also
has a Win 9x version on his site.
