The VE3DNL Marker Generator was a low cost kit which provides frequency markers at every 40, 20, 10 and 5 kHz. These markers can be used to verify dial calibration on low cost receivers and transceivers.
A VE3DNL marker generator circuit board designed by Chuck Adams, K5FO, is
still available from: FAR Circuits.
The hard to find component is the 5.12 Mhz crystal - consider the 10.24 Mhz
crystal mentioned by Glenn, VE3DNL, in his qrp-l email
of 7/20/95. Also
